Come join the team at the premiere optometry clinic on the Eastside.

We work with patients with special needs, including learning difficulties, autism and traumatic brain injuries. Other medical providers and optometry clinics consult with us regarding their patients who need more specialized help. We see patients of all ages, but especially children and teens. Come join the team and make a difference in the lives of patients of all ages and their families.

We are looking for an administrative assistant and patient care coordinator who shares our passion for patients. Your friendly and professional communication skills will be critical to setting the right tone with patients in person, on the phone and by email. Your coordination skills will help you multi-task and complete the duties that keep our office running smoothly, including pulling files, creating invoices and making reminder phone calls to patients, etc

About You
You are professional, flexible, positive, organized and a hard worker who likes to have variety in their job while working with the public. You are reliable and complete your duties with minimal supervision. You are looking for a stable job long-term job changing people’s lives. You like to play an important support role while having some leadership duties.

Who Are We
We are an optometry clinic with a difference. We work with patients who need more TLC: patients with learning difficulties and with special needs. We conduct two-hour eye exams and solve more complex visual problems. We hire amazing employees who truly care about their patients, want to work with them one on one, and want to stay and grow with the clinic. We take COVID precautions seriously to ensure the health and safety of staff, patients and family.

The Position

  • Greet patients in person and help with check in and check out

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments

  • Filing and pulling patient charts for the day

  • Helping with payroll, schedule changes

  • Creating invoices and collecting payment

  • Preparing mail and recall mailouts

  • Type summaries and patient reports

  • Order supplies for the clinic

  • Photocopying, organizing and misc clerical projects and duties

  • Ordering supplies and taking inventory

  • Organizing and cleaning and tidying up

  • Sending referrals and consults

  • Misc projects

Hours:


8 hour shift must be able to work till 7pm Monday-Thursday and 6pm Friday

No weekends

We are well stocked with masks, face shields, cleaning supplies, plexiglass at reception and individual therapy rooms. Our staff works together to strictly adhere to every CDC guideline to ensure our office is safe for staff and patients.
